Raw: This week’s episode of WWE Raw marked the final episode before the Royal Rumble 2024. In this episode, Seth Rollins provided updates on his future, and a compelling segment featuring CM Punk and Cody Rhodes unfolded.

The conclusion of the Raw brand featured an explosive match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. Despite the overall quality of the show, there were some ordinary aspects. Here, we highlight four significant mistakes witnessed in this week’s WWE Raw episode.

4- Chad Gable’s Loss in WWE Raw:

This week on WWE Raw, viewers witnessed a match featuring Chad Gable against Ivar. It was an impressive match, with Gable delivering a stellar performance against a more powerful opponent. Gable came remarkably close to winning the match, but unfortunately, Valhalla intervened, reversing Gable’s move and securing the victory. Despite being an excellent in-ring performer, Gable has struggled to secure victories in singles matches for an extended period. This is why WWE should have given Gable a win in this week’s Raw match.

3- Outcome Uncertain in Imperium vs. New Day Match:

The opening match of WWE Raw this week showcased a tag team clash between Imperium and New Day. The bout delivered an outstanding fight, with both teams showcasing their skills and eliciting a positive reaction from the audience. However, the conclusion of this excellent match was somewhat anticlimactic. In the final moments, all four superstars began brawling at ringside, failing to return to the ring even after the referee’s ten-count. Consequently, the referee concluded the match with a double count-out.

2- Limited Use of Jey Uso in WWE Raw:

Jey Uso, after making the switch from SmackDown to Raw, initially received significant attention. He began well, forming a successful tag team with Kofi Rhodes and even becoming the Undisputed Tag Team Champions. However, in recent weeks, Uso has been underutilized in Raw. This week’s main event featured Jey Uso only in a backstage segment with New Day members. Considering Uso’s potential, he deserves better booking. It remains to be seen how Uso performs in his upcoming singles match against Bronson Reed on Raw next week.

1- R-Truth’s Interruption in the Main Event:

The main event of WWE Raw showcased a singles match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest, who have been engaged in a prolonged rivalry. The hard-hitting contest reached its climax with an unexpected interference from R-Truth. This interruption slowed down the pace of the match. Taking advantage of Truth’s distraction, McIntyre delivered a Claymore Kick to Priest, securing the pin for the victory. While the match was intense, the involvement of Truth did not contribute positively to its conclusion. A cleaner finish without Truth’s interference could have provided a more satisfying ending to the bout.
