Ahead of SmackDown’s New Year’s Revolution, Randy Orton has issued a stern warning to his WWE rivals.

Scheduled for the main event, Orton will collide with AJ Styles and LA Knight in a Triple Threat Match. The winner secures a shot at Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

A backstage video shared by WWE’s Instagram displayed Orton arriving at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. While walking, Orton confidently stated his anticipation for the night ahead.

“Tonight’s a big match. When I leave this arena in a few hours, I’ll be the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship,” he declared.

The winner of this Triple Threat is expected to face The Tribal Chief, confirmed to make an appearance. Speculation surrounds potential matchups: The Apex Predator vs. The Head of The Table at the Royal Rumble or The Megastar vs. The Phenomenal One.
